Can you fit out a small cafe tenancy?

Yes, and tight tenancies are where the layout matters most. We work out where the counter, seating, storage and the path customers walk all sit, so a small footprint earns every square metre without feeling cramped.

What does a cafe fitout cover?

We build the counter and display joinery, the seating out front, the back-of-house storage, and the floor, wall and ceiling finishes. We also bring in the electrical, plumbing rough-in and the power, water and waste connections your equipment supplier needs to drop the machines in and switch them on.

Do you handle food safety and accessibility requirements for cafes?

Yes. We build to the codes that apply to hospitality, which means washable, hard-wearing surfaces, hand-wash basins and amenities where they're required, and accessible entry and movement where it applies. We work alongside your certifier or designer when a fitout needs approval, so the space is ready for the food safety and council sign-offs.

Can you build the fitout while the cafe keeps trading?

Sometimes, depending on the tenancy and how much we're changing. Where it works, we run the noisy and disruptive parts after hours or in stages to keep you trading, though a full strip-out and rebuild usually needs the doors closed. We walk the site early and tell you straight what's realistic so you can plan around it.

What do you need to give us a price for a cafe fitout?

Send us a floor plan or even a rough sketch, the tenancy address, how you'll run service, your seating numbers, and any design or equipment schedule you've got. From that we walk the space, confirm what the build involves, and lay out the order of works. The more you can tell us about finishes and equipment, the sharper the quote.
